About Us

Behind the name

I often get asked why I chose this name for the organization, I wanted the name to have the acronym "B.U.M", but actually have a meaning behind it. I dislike when people would call unsheltered people "BUMS"; ever since I was a child I felt that was a derogatory word. So I took the word and now I'm making it mean something positive; Blessings Undelivered Momentarily. Your blessings may not have arrived yet, but they will in a moment.

MISSION

Our mission is to provide assistance and support to the unsheltered community by providing food, clothing, housing, and resources, with empathy and compassion to alleviate suffering and make a meaningful and lasting impact in their lives.

VISION

Our vision is to establish a no-cost housing facility for the unsheltered community that provides a roof over their heads, a support system that helps overcome the challenges that led to them becoming unsheltered, and resources for reintegration into a working society. We envision a future where every individual has access to the resources and support they need to improve their lives and break the cycle of being unsheltered.
